In addition to these discounts, Apple has introduced convenient EMI plans for the entire iPhone 15 series.
Specifications Highlights: The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus feature impressive displays, measuring 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively. The Pro models incorporate titanium instead of stainless steel for the side bars, resulting in slimmer borders around the screen.
All of the new iPhone models boast a remarkable 48-megapixel main camera, with the flagship Pro Max model offering 5X optical zoom and 3X telephoto capabilities.
Under the hood, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are powered by the A16 bionic chip, while the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be equipped with the A17 pro chip. Apple has also taken an eco-friendly approach, revealing that the batteries in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are constructed with 100% recycled cobalt.
Furthermore, the models introduce the Dynamic Island alerts interface at the top of the screen, a technology initially introduced in last year’s Pro models, promising enhanced performance across all four phones. Inaugural Meeting of ‘One Nation, One Election’ https://www.metrocityindiamagazine.com/2023/09/20/inaugural-meeting-of-one-nation-one-election-committee-set-for-september-23/ https://www.metrocityindiamagazine.com/2023/09/20/inaugural-meeting-of-one-nation-one-election-committee-set-for-september-23/#respond Wed, 20 Sep 2023 09:37:39 +0000 https://www.metrocityindiamagazine.com/?p=2799

Inaugural Meeting of ‘One Nation, One Election’ Committee Set for September 23:

The committee responsible for the ‘One Nation, One Election’ initiative is gearing up for its inaugural meeting, scheduled for September 23, 2023. Former President and committee chairman, Ram Nath Kovind, announced this date while addressing the media. The concept of ‘One Nation, One Election’ was first introduced on August 31, sparking widespread curiosity and speculation within the political arena. Various political parties, politicians, and election experts have been closely monitoring the developments, eagerly anticipating the committee’s agenda for the special session of Parliament. On September 1, the government officially established a committee dedicated to the ‘One Nation, One Election’ initiative, appointing former President Ram Nath Kovind as its leader. In support of this significant move, BJP chief JP Nadda held discussions with the former president at his residence earlier. The formation of the committee has intensified speculations, strongly suggesting that a special parliamentary session will be convened to introduce this crucial legislation. Since assuming office in 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently advocated for the idea of synchronized elections, encompassing not only national but also local elections. He has emphasized the financial strain caused by the near-continuous cycle of elections and the resultant disruption to developmental projects during election periods. Ram NathKovind, echoing Prime Minister Modi’s perspective, expressed his endorsement of the concept after assuming the presidency in 2017. During an address to Parliament in 2018, he emphasized, “Frequent elections not only impose a huge burden on human resources but also impede the development process due to the promulgation of the model code of conduct.” Like Prime Minister Modi, Kovind urged for a sustained and inclusive debate on this issue, expressing hope that all political parties would eventually reach a consensus regarding the ‘One Nation, One Election’ initiative.

Modi Commemorates Iconic Speeches of Nehru and Vajpayee, Emphasizing Their Timeless Inspiration

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, invoked the memorable speeches of his predecessors, Jawaharlal Nehru and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, underscoring their enduring influence on lawmakers.

“In the annals of parliamentary history, Pandit Nehru’s ‘at stroke of midnight’ oration and Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s assertion, ‘sarkaare aayengi-jayengi, lekin desh rehna chahiye’ (governments will come and go, but the country should endure), will resonate within these hallowed Parliament walls for eternity,” Modi proclaimed as he initiated a discussion in the Lok Sabha on the occasion of Parliament’s 75th year. This momentous session convened on the first day of a five-day special gathering.

The iconic “a tryst with destiny” speech was delivered by Nehru at the stroke of midnight on August 15, 1947, marking the transfer of power from the British colonial rule to an independent India. Nehru fervently called upon the people of India, on the dawn of their newfound freedom, “to labor and to work, and work hard, to give reality to our dreams. Those dreams are for India but they are also for the world.”

Modi’s reference to Nehru and his historic speech holds significant weight, given the Congress party’s allegations that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been diluting the legacy of India’s first Prime Minister and his vision of a secular, inclusive nation.

Modi further hailed the venerable Parliament building, which has borne witness to the making of history. He described it as the embodiment of India’s soul and democracy, evoking memories of the remarkable speeches delivered within its walls by both Nehru and Vajpayee.

The special parliamentary session commenced in the current building on Monday, set to transition to the new House complex the following day.

In addition, Modi lauded the journalists who have covered Parliament over the years. “As we bid farewell to this hallowed House, I wish to pay tribute to our media friends who have played an integral role in covering Parliament. They diligently reported the minutiae of parliamentary proceedings at a time when modern technology did not offer the conveniences of today. They not only conveyed the news but delved into the tiniest intricacies of parliamentary affairs and shared them with the public.”

Effective Home Remedies for Typhoid: Natural Ways to Speed Recovery https://www.metrocityindiamagazine.com/2023/09/18/effective-home-remedies-for-typhoid-natural-ways-to-speed-recovery/ https://www.metrocityindiamagazine.com/2023/09/18/effective-home-remedies-for-typhoid-natural-ways-to-speed-recovery/#respond Mon, 18 Sep 2023 09:26:22 +0000 https://www.metrocityindiamagazine.com/?p=2928

Typhoid fever, caused by the Salmonella Typhi bacteria, is a potentially life-threatening illness that affects millions of people worldwide. Its symptoms include high fever, weakness, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, making it a debilitating condition. While medical treatment is essential for typhoid, several home remedies can complement traditional treatments and help expedite recovery. In this article, we will explore some effective home remedies for typhoid that can provide relief and support healing.

1. Stay Hydrated

One of the most critical aspects of typhoid recovery is staying well-hydrated. High fever and diarrhea can lead to significant fluid loss, which can be dangerous. Sip on clear fluids like water, coconut water, and oral rehydration solutions (ORS) throughout the day. These fluids not only replenish lost fluids but also help maintain electrolyte balance.

2. Nutrient-Rich Diet

A nutritious diet is essential for strengthening your immune system and promoting healing. Consume easily digestible foods like rice, boiled vegetables, and steamed chicken or fish. Opt for foods rich in vitamins and minerals, such as fruits and leafy greens, to support your immune system’s functioning.

3. Herbal Tea

Herbal teas like ginger tea, mint tea, and chamomile tea can provide relief from fever, nausea, and digestive discomfort. Ginger, in particular, has anti-inflammatory properties and can help soothe the digestive tract. Prepare these teas using fresh ingredients for maximum benefits.

4. Fenugreek Seeds

Fenugreek seeds are known for their antibacterial properties. Soak a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in a glass of water overnight, strain the water, and drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. This can help reduce fever and improve digestion.

5. Basil Leaves

Basil leaves have antimicrobial properties that can aid in combating the Salmonella Typhi bacteria. Prepare a decoction by boiling basil leaves in water and drinking it a few times a day. This can help reduce fever and promote recovery.

6. Garlic

Garlic is a natural antibiotic and can help in fighting infections. You can consume raw garlic cloves or add them to your meals. If you find the taste too strong, you can mix crushed garlic with honey for a milder flavor.

7. Probiotics

Typhoid fever can disrupt the balance of beneficial gut bacteria. Probiotic-rich foods like yogurt with live cultures can help restore this balance. Probiotics support digestion and enhance the immune system’s response.

8. Cold Compress

To reduce fever and discomfort, place a cold, damp washcloth on your forehead or take a lukewarm bath. This can help alleviate the feverish sensation and provide temporary relief.

9. Rest and Sleep

Adequate rest is crucial during typhoid recovery. Your body needs extra energy to fight off the infection, so ensure you get plenty of sleep. Avoid strenuous activities and focus on relaxation to expedite healing.

10. Maintain Hygiene

Good hygiene practices are essential not only for your own recovery but also to prevent the spread of typhoid to others. Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, especially before handling food and after using the bathroom. Use separate utensils and towels to avoid contamination. While typhoid fever requires medical attention and antibiotics, these home remedies can complement the prescribed treatment and support your recovery process. Staying hydrated, following a nutrient-rich diet, and incorporating natural remedies like herbal teas, basil leaves, and garlic can help alleviate symptoms and expedite healing. Remember to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan, and follow their guidance throughout your recovery journey. With the right care and these home remedies, you can enhance your chances of a swift and complete recovery from typhoid fever

Fukrey 3 Unveils New Character Posters: https://www.metrocityindiamagazine.com/2023/09/05/fukrey-3-unveils-new-character-posters/ https://www.metrocityindiamagazine.com/2023/09/05/fukrey-3-unveils-new-character-posters/#respond Tue, 05 Sep 2023 11:52:49 +0000 https://www.metrocityindiamagazine.com/?p=2641

Fukrey 3 Unveils New Character Posters: Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi, Varun Sharma Shine; Ali Fazal’s Absence Leaves Fans Yearning

The highly-anticipated release of “Fukrey 3” has sent fans into a frenzy as the film’s team announced the trailer’s impending launch set for Tuesday. On the eve of this exciting revelation, the filmmakers treated fans to fresh character posters featuring the beloved cast.

The newly released posters offer a glimpse into the quirky world of “Fukrey 3.” In one poster, Varun Sharma’s character dons a peacock costume, adding a splash of eccentricity to the mix. Pulkit Samrat, suspended from a log with an astonished expression, adds to the intrigue. Pankaj Tripathi adopts a relaxed posture in another poster, while Manjot Singh pulls a comical face. The final poster showcases Richa Chadha, radiantly flashing a victory sign while holding a cutout of her character, where she folds her hands in a cheerful gesture.

Yet, amid the excitement, fans couldn’t help but feel a void left by the absence of Ali Fazal’s character, Zafar. Social media buzzed with fans expressing their longing for Zafar’s return. Comments like “Where is Zafar Bhai?” and “Where is Kaptaan?” echoed the sentiment, with one Instagram user straightforwardly asking, “Why is Ali Fazal not there?” Ali Fazal had portrayed the iconic character of Zafar in the first and second installments of the film franchise.

Ali Fazal had previously shared his reasons for not appearing in “Fukrey 3.” In a statement earlier this year, he explained, “So, will Zafar make an appearance or not? Everyone keeps asking the same question. Sorry, my friends, not this time! Sometimes, Zafar has to become Guddu bhaiya, and these two universes occasionally overlap.” He assured fans of his continued involvement with the franchise and added, “Once a fukra, always a fukra, so I am around. But I won’t be on screen for the third outing of the Fukras, Bholi, and Panditji!”

He further elaborated, “I would have wanted to be a part of it, but my schedule didn’t allow me to. I will return at some point in the future, perhaps sooner than you expect. Zafar will be back after a brief detour to entertain you all.” Ali Fazal currently portrays Guddu Pandit in the popular series “Mirzapur.”

As anticipation continues to build, “Fukrey 3,” the third installment of this beloved comedy-drama franchise, is set to hit theaters on September 28. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner, the film promises to deliver the same desi comedy charm that has endeared it to audiences since its debut in 2013. Originally slated for a December 1 release, the film was rescheduled to September 28, having initially been planned for a September 7 release on the occasion of Janmashtami.

G20 Summit 2023: Delhi Metro Stations to Temporarily Close Amidst Tightened Security Measures

In preparation for the upcoming high-level G20 Summit set to take place at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, the Delhi Metro has rolled out an advisory affecting commuters. The Delhi Metro Police has announced the closure of entry and exit gates at select sensitive stations from September 8 to 10.

During this brief period, passengers will have limited access through one or two gates at certain stations, while other routes will operate normally, as confirmed by the police. The reason behind this measure, according to the Delhi Metro Police, is to ensure comprehensive security arrangements for the G20 Summit, slated for September 9 to 10. The decision was taken following a request from the Chief Security Commissioner, aligning with the Summit’s VVIP route and venue.

The following stations will experience complete gate closures: Moti Bagh, Bhikaji Cama Place, Munirka, RK Puram, IIT, and Sadar Bazar Cantonment Metro stations. Additionally, the Supreme Court Metro Station, which is closest to the event venue, will remain entirely closed.

In accordance with the Delhi Metro Police’s directive, Dhula Kuan, Khan Market, Janpath, Supreme Court, and Bhikaji Cama Place metro stations have been identified as sensitive areas.

Travelers heading to Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) between September 7 and September 11 have been advised to utilize the metro system.

To accommodate the expected surge in passenger numbers during the G20 Summit, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has introduced ‘Tourist Smart Cards.’ These cards, available in one-day and three-day validity options, provide “unlimited rides” within the metro network. The one-day card is priced at ₹200, while the three-day card costs ₹500, inclusive of a refundable security deposit of ₹50, as confirmed by the DMRC. These cards can be purchased at dedicated counters located in 36 metro stations, starting from Monday.

In addition to the Delhi Metro’s measures, the Delhi Traffic Police has released a comprehensive advisory outlining traffic movement restrictions during the G20 Summit. These restrictions will be enforced from the night of September 7 through September 11 to ensure the security and smooth functioning of the event.

Title: Devastation Unleashed: California Shaken by Earthquake Amidst the Most Lethal Tropical Storm in 84 Years – Disturbing Footage Emerges

Tropical Storm Hilary has brought a dual onslaught of catastrophe to the southwestern United States, engulfing regions from Mexico’s arid Baja California Peninsula to Southern California. As deadly floodwaters surged through the streets of Mexico, this ominous tempest made an unprecedented landfall in Southern California, leaving in its wake submerged roads, fallen trees, and profound concern for flash floods reaching even the northernmost parts of Idaho, an area unaccustomed to such torrential downpours.

In a meteorological anomaly, Hilary marked the first tropical storm to assail Southern California in 84 years. Its arrival ushered in a barrage of flash floods, mudslides, ferocious winds, power outages, and the ominous potential for isolated tornadoes. The storm commenced its havoc by making landfall along the Mexican coastline, precisely 250 kilometers south of Ensenada, ravaging its path through Tijuana, a city susceptible to mudslides, where makeshift dwellings precariously cling to the hills just south of the US border.

Affecting Millions: The Human Toll Amid the deluge, a staggering 9 million individuals found themselves under the threat of flash-flood watches and warnings. This deluge descended upon the usually sun-drenched Southern California, preluding the storm’s full fury. Particularly vulnerable were desert areas and hillsides, bearing the scars of past wildfires, amplifying the risk of devastation.

Palm Springs and surrounding desert communities across the Coachella Valley witnessed a deluge that trapped numerous vehicles in floodwaters. The emergency room at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage found itself inundated, requiring intensive efforts to pump out the encroaching floodwaters. Streets transformed into rivers, drainage systems buckled under the onslaught, and the weight of water toppled branches across neighborhoods spanning from San Diego to Los Angeles.

Earthquake Strikes: A Sudden Tremor Southern California was to receive yet another harrowing surprise in the form of an earthquake, with preliminary estimates placing its magnitude at 5.1. The quake’s epicenter lay near Ojai, a location situated approximately 130 kilometers northwest of downtown Los Angeles, according to data from the US Geological Survey. The seismic event rippled across the region, accompanied by subsequent, smaller aftershocks. Thankfully, initial reports from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office indicated no significant damage or injuries.

As Hurricane Hilary pressed its assault, the prospect of unprecedented, century-defining rainfall loomed. The Western states of Nevada, Oregon, and Idaho faced the remarkable prospect of enduring drenching rains, potentially elevating Hilary to the status of the wettest tropical cyclone in recorded history for those regions. However, Hilary’s trajectory predicted it to maintain its status as a tropical storm as it traversed central Nevada before eventual dissipation on Monday.

Climate Crisis Escalates: A Cascade of Calamities Amid this dual catastrophe, Hurricane Hilary emerges as the latest in a series of climate-induced disasters that have unleashed devastation across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The repercussions are painfully evident, with Hawaii’s Maui Island still grappling with the aftermath of a devastating blaze that claimed over a hundred lives and razed the historic town of Lahaina. This conflagration now stands as the most lethal wildfire the United States has witnessed in over a century.

Across the border, Canadian firefighters confront an unprecedented fire season, while the Mexican cities of Ensenada and Tijuana take drastic measures, closing beaches and establishing shelters in response to Hilary’s menacing approach. The echoes of history remind us that the tempestuous grip of natural disasters is not new; a parallel storm wreaked havoc in September 1939, tearing apart infrastructure, homes, and lives, claiming nearly a hundred souls both on land and at sea.
